Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)

Full-Time Permanent

$236,662 package includes salary ($210,015), employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading.

About the role

Seeking a strategic and experienced procurement leader to join our Corporate Services Group as Associate Director of Procurement Strategy and Delivery. In this pivotal role you will set the strategic direction for enterprise‑wide category management, co‑design procurement strategies with senior stakeholders and deliver customer‑focused value‑for‑money outcomes across TAFE NSW. You’ll lead a team of procurement professionals, strengthen supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability, ensuring alignment with NSW Government policy and TAFE NSW’s strategic objectives.


About You

You are a trusted procurement strategist and people leader who drives excellence through collaboration, insight and integrity. You thrive in complex environments, balancing commercial outcomes with public value.


You’ll bring

* Extensive experience leading high‑performing procurement teams within large or complex organisations.
* Expertise in government procurement frameworks, category management and supplier relationship management.
* Strong commercial influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to deliver strategic value.
* A customer‑first mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
* A relevant degree and professional procurement accreditation (e.g., MCIPS or equivalent).
