Shadow Baking is a high-end patisserie in Sydney, founded by three chefs from Gelato Messina.
We make a constantly-changing, hand-crafted range of viennoiserie. We're looking for an experienced Lead Pastry Chef to oversee the production of our high-quality pastry items and manage our small team of skilled pastry chefs.
You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent production and exceptional quality of all pastry products, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will monitor inventory and order supplies as needed, managing costs and minimising waste.
You must have experience leading a team in high end pastry production. You should have excellent attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with laminated products is essential.
Certificate III or IV in Patisserie is preferred, however relevant work experience will be considered.
