We’re now expanding our Immunity Enterprise and Immunity DNS4Gov initiative – a cybersecurity solution designed for governments and public institutions and enterprises – to cover the APAC region with our government solution and establish the enterprise solution in Australia and New Zealand.
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager or Government Customer Success Manager with a solid background in information technology and cybersecurity verticals to help us scale our mission in the APAC region.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and sales activities toward governments for Whalebone’s Immunity DNS4Gov solution across APAC markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle for government, public‑sector clients and enterprises – from identification and discovery through project preparation support, proposal, negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Consulting team and Deployment Project Manager to ensure existing government customers from the APAC region are successfully deployed and satisfied with the solution.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders, public agencies focused on national cybersecurity strategies and projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams – including Technical Consultants, Product, and Marketing – to develop tailored proposals that meet regulatory and operational needs.
- Drive measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven track record of government sales or business development within the APAC region.
- Experience working for a software vendor (preferably cybersecurity) or telecommunication operator serving large enterprise customers or government clients.
- Established network of connections in governments across the APAC region at ministry level or with public agencies focused on national cybersecurity strategies and projects.
- Senior‑level capability to navigate complex government procurement cycles and build multi‑stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional APAC language a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the APAC region.
- Self‑managed, highly motivated.
