The Role
We are currently seeking an exceptional individual with a positive and proactive approach to join our dedicated Cheshire School team in this newly created position.
Reporting to the Head of School, you will be part of a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic school team creating an environment that nurtures independence, resilience, and a desire to learn.
Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children to help students gain the skills required to re-engage with learning and transition back into mainstream school, with a key focus on building the capacity of children, families, and the school community.
About You
To be successful, you will have experience working with children with complex behaviour needs, providing clinical and/or functional behaviour assessment, intervention, and support, ideally within a school setting.
Crucial to your success will be your ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with students and families from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. Your excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, along with your ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, will enable you to achieve set goals.
