Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Industry Engagement Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating operational outcomes, particularly in the area of apprenticeship attraction, preparation, placement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, government entities, and training providers, to set direction and priorities.
* Promote industry opportunities through educational programs, career expos, and community outreach initiatives.
* Maintain and update job vacancies to expand our reach to new employers in the field.
* Develop and maintain relationships with secondary school career teachers, RTOs, Job Networks, and government agencies.
* Provide guidance and support to apprentices, assisting them with career development and mentorship.
* Manage a high level of administration and coordination while maintaining CRM regarding all contacts and communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in client relationships or networking skills.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database platforms.
* A highly motivated attitude with a drive to achieve positive outcomes.
* Strong communication and time management abilities.
* The ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and deliver results.
