Position Overview: We are currently seeking skilled HD Diesel Mechanics to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty diesel machinery in remote mining sites across Australia. If you are passionate about your trade, possess strong problem-solving skills, and thrive in a challenging work environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty diesel machinery.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
* Performing engine overhauls, component replacements, and system upgrades.
* Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic.
* Proven experience working with heavy-duty machinery, preferably in the mining or construction sector.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote locations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license.
* FIFO experience is highly desirable.
* OEM experience will be highly regarded.
