We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team. The part-time working hours are Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm. The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing efficient administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise work, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. This position supports sales, finance, and general office management functions. This new position will be responsible for:
* Answering and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner;
* Inputing and process customer sales orders with accuracy and efficiency;
* Liaising with customers regarding order status, delivery timeframes, and general support;
* Following up outstanding debtors via phone and email in a professional manner;
* Allocating and reconcile customer payments in the accounting system;
* Monitoring and order office and kitchen supplies to maintain stock levels;
* Maintaining a clean, well-organised office environment;
* Coordinating maintenance or service requests for office equipment or facilities; and
* Supporting internal projects, events, or administrative process improvements.
You will bring to the team:
* Previous experience in an administration or office support role (1–2 years preferred);
* Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office systems;
* Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work independently; and
* Basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping processes (advantageous).
