Role Overview
The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Region Health Network seeks an Administration Officer to deliver high‐quality, confidential, customer‐focused support to clients, staff, and visitors. Core duties include reception, patient admissions and discharges, report preparation, data entry, medical record support, records management, business classification, retention, offsite storage, and FOI application assistance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver courteous and efficient customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and the general public, both in person and over the phone.
* Provide professional administrative support, including patient admissions, orientation, record keeping, data entry, report preparation, and management of communication systems.
* Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy patient/client records, ensuring compliance with data integrity and documentation standards.
* Support workplace health and safety by following safe work practices, reporting incidents, participating in safety initiatives, and assisting with return‐to‐work programmes.
* Comply with records‐management standards and document control procedures, attend relevant meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement in administrative services.
