What we need from you / What our client requires
· Demonstrated experience in ETL development using IBM DataStage
· Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of DB2, Oracle, and data modelling techniques
· Hands-on experience with TOAD, DB Visualizer, and JIRA in agile environments
· Understanding of data privacy, security protocols, and governance best practices
We are seeking an experienced and proactive ETL Developer to join our client's team in delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade data solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL processes that efficiently transform and load data from multiple sources into centralised systems.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality, availability, and performance of data to support reliable enterprise reporting and analytics.
Key Requirements
· Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL workflows using DataStage
· Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting
· Maintain and support data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance
· Follow secure coding and data governance practices, ensuring privacy and data integrity
· Contribute to technical documentation, testing, and deployment processes
· Estimate task effort and report progress, risks, and issues proactively
