This is an identified Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander position.
The HR Officer is primarily responsible for delivering core HR administration services across the business, providing key coordination support to the Senior HR Business Partners.
Responsibilities include:
Respond to general HR queries
Participate in and support inclusion and diversity initiatives, including Hunter Water's Reconciliation Action Plan
Coordinate recruitment and selection processes
Prepare HR correspondence
Process and maintain HR data in HRIS
Coordinate organisational surveys
Facilitate inductions for new starters
Support the annual performance and learning review cycle
Demonstrate the Hunter Water values of Inclusion, Trust, Leading, Learning and Wellbeing and actively participate in promoting our values based culture
About you:
Relevant work experience and/or qualifications in Human Resources
Discretion and the ability to maintain confidential information
Demonstrated relationship building skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and work collaboratively across multi-disciplined teams
Excellent attention to detail
