About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenSales Executiveto join our team. This remote role is based in Melbourne but offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, building strong relationships within the events industry, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
-Business Development:Identify and target new clients including event organisers, exhibition suppliers, corporate event planners, and marketing agencies.
-Client Relationship Management:Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
-Sales Strategy Implementation:Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the events and exhibitions sector.
-Proposal & Contract Negotiation:Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
-Market Research:Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the events sector.
-Collaboration:Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure client requirements are met seamlessly.
-Reporting & Forecasting:Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics; prepare regular sales reports for management.
KPIs & Reporting Structure:
-Monthly Sales Targets:Achieve set revenue targets and new client acquisition goals.
-Lead Generation:Generate a minimum of 30 qualified leads per month.
-Conversion Rate:Maintain a minimum conversion rate of 35% from leads to signed contracts.
-Client Retention:Achieve a client retention rate of at least 60% annually.
-Customer Satisfaction:Attain an average client satisfaction score of 7.5/10 or higher.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the General Manager.
- Collaborates with Operations and Staffing teams to ensure service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in events, exhibitions, hospitality, or labour hire industries.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of the Australian events industry landscape is a must.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
