Supply Planning Manager
Location: Derrimut, VIC - Hybrid (Remote and In Person)Type: Contract (15-month)Department: Planning and S&OPReports to: Head of Planning and S&OP
Role Overview
You will be responsible for developing and executing robust short, medium and long-term supply and production plans. You'll play a critical role in aligning strategic objectives with operational execution, ensuring optimal balance across labour, plant capacity, materials, and product mix. This role also drives planning maturity, leading key planning forums and embedding best-practice S&OP processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of integrated supply and production plans across a rolling multi-year horizon
* Translate business strategy into executable production schedules
* Conduct scenario modelling and capacity planning (including 3–5 year outlooks)
* Deliver a reliable 24-month rolling forecast aligned with Sales, Marketing, and Operations
* Lead and continuously improve S&OP and planning rhythms (daily, weekly, monthly)
* Facilitate key forums including Supply Reviews and Sales & Operations Execution (SOE)
* Provide data-driven insights, reporting, and recommendations to support decision-making
* Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Planning team
* Drive accountability, capability uplift, and continuous improvement
* Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across stakeholders
* Monitor key KPIs including service levels, schedule adherence, and inventory performance
* Identify risks and opportunities, implementing corrective actions
* Drive innovation and process improvements across supply planning
* Partner with internal teams including Demand Planning, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Logistics
* Support customer collaboration and seasonal planning
* Communicate supply risks, constraints, and opportunities effectively
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in Supply Planning within FMCG (ideally 5+ years)
* Strong knowledge of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence and drive outcomes
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI/reporting tools
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
* Ability to travel on a fortnightly basis to regional sites in Colac, Victoria
