Essential qualifications, memberships and licences required:
Paramedics
* Bachelor of Paramedicine or equivalent
* Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Emergency Medical Technicians
* Minimum Certificate IV Health Care (HLT41115) or equivalent
To be eligible for the role, applicants will be required to supply the following documents:
* Current Resume and Cover Letter
* Qualifications & Certificates (AHPRA Registration)
* Current Class C Unrestricted Driver’s Licence and safe driving record.
* Evidence of current and updated vaccinations, including but not limited to Hep B, annual Influenza, MMR, Whooping Cough (Pertussis), Chickenpox (Varicella) and double COVID 19 vaccination.
* Current National Police Check
* Current Working with Children Paid Employment Check
If successful, all applicants will also be required to complete the following pre-employment checks (at the cost of the employer):
* Pre-Employment Medical Check and
* Drug and Alcohol testing.
Remuneration is according to the Ambulance and Patient Transport Industry Award 2022 [MA000098].
