The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. Essential requirements include a valid work visa, current First Aid & CPR certification, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and a Queensland Driver's Licence. A Certificate 3 in Disability or equivalent is also required, along with English language proficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care duties with compassion and professionalism. This may include transporting clients to appointments, providing companionship and support, assisting with daily hygiene, meal preparation, and daily activities such as laundry or cleaning. You will also facilitate community participation and inclusion, prompt positive routines and behaviours, and supervise medication as needed.
