Eilbeck Cranes is seeking to employ an Electrical Engineering Technician, to join our team based in Perth, WA.
About the job:
* Analyse the performance of assemblies and electrical components.
* Assist engineers with electrical engineering research.
* Design, install and maintain electrical control and systems.
* Test, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and systems.
* Diagnose electrical system faults.
* Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.
* Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems.
* Estimating materials costs and quantities of crane parts and electrical system upgrades when required.
* Inspecting crane designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations.
* Testing electrical equipment and installations to conform to regulations and safety requirements.
* Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing.
* Ensure that work is performed within agreed times and to an acceptable standard ensuring all work complies with Australian standards.
Pay: $40-$50 per hour
Qualifications:
* Engineering qualification
* Previous experience with overhead cranes would be an advantage
