Boiler Operator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boiler Operator to join our team at NERP - Tamworth. As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and documentation of the power plant's process components and field instruments. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the plant, as well as its efficient production.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our goals. Required Skills and Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or 1-2 years' experience in a power plant or similar environment preferred;
* Familiarity with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems and electrical circuit breaker operation;
* Basic computer skills, including data entry and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
