About the role
Back2Work is part of the Humanity Health Group, and we are seeking a motivated and experienced Social Worker or Psychologist to join our growing team across the nation. This part-time or full-time role will be responsible for providing essential mental health and social support services to our diverse client base. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients while contributing to the strategic objectives of our organisation. FIFO option available
What you'll be doing
* Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans
* Providing one-on-one counselling and psychotherapy to help clients manage mental health concerns, emotional challenges, and social issues
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clients
* Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with all relevant professional and legal standards
* Contributing to the development and delivery of group programs and workshops
* Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or Psychology, or willingness to obtain.
* Current registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or willingness to obtain.
* Demonstrated experience providing clinical services in a healthcare or community setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathise and build trust with clients
* Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
* Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality
