About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Health Professional, to join the Adult Mental Health Day Service & Rehabilitation Unit. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team, who are passionate about positive patient outcomes. In this position, you will be coordinating and facilitating individual and group sessions that are recovery-focused interventions for patients who experience moderate to severe mental health conditions. You will also coordinate referrals for patients to access broader services within the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS) division. You will also provide clinical supervision and training for Health Professionals, Allied Health Assistants and other support staff.
The successful candidate will possess advanced therapy skills with complex consumers and have strong interpersonal skills to build trust with patients. You will have strong communication skills to liaise with teams within the MHJHADS division to support patients' recovery. You will have previous experience working with mental health consumers and facilitating individual and group therapy.
A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.

Note: This is a Part-time position (22.05), and the salary noted above will be paid pro-rata.
