Job Overview
As a Field Service Technician at Automax Tools, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our advanced equipment installations across Tasmania. This role requires attention to detail, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent customer service abilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Servicing and maintaining installed equipment to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction
* Reporting on service assignments and faults in a timely manner
* Installing new equipment at various sites
* Providing exceptional customer service to our partners and members of the public
* Analyzing areas of potential improvement and reporting to the local service team
* Performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks on equipment
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Trade Certificate III in Electrical or Electronics, or equivalent experience
* Previous experience with operating systems, software installation, networking, and mobile telecommunications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record
