About the Role
The Administration Officer provides a highly valued service for students at the Senior Campus. Spinifex State College prides itself on delivering quality support for students on their chosen academic or vocational pathways. The successful applicant for the role of Administration Officer will have high level communication, organisation and interpersonal skills to achieve the following key actions.
Your Responsibilities
As the Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Work under the direction of the Head of Department - Senior Schooling.
* Assist with the case management of senior students.
* Assist with the coordination of students undertaking TAFE training.
* Coordinate Work Experience for senior students
* Facilitate the documentation relating to School Based Traineeships/ Apprenticeships and Work Experience Placements.
* Keep accurate records.
* General office duties
* Provide assistance with the careers program, including the coordination of guest speakers from industry and community groups.
* Provide timely information to school staff regarding VET/ Career Programs.
* Provide timely and effective communication to parents, school administration, employers and training and industry groups.
* Assist students to develop careers related skills.
* Liaise with group training, QLD Apprenticeship Centre, Employers and industry bodies to facilitate student training and employment opportunities.
* Provide progress reports as required.
* Support the RTO manager with maintaining VET Compliance activities
* Be familiar with relevant polies SBAT and USI
* Assist with the tracking of post-school student destinations
