Senior/Principal Town Planner opportunity on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This is a rare chance to shape a consultancy’s Queensland presence, starting on the Sunshine Coast. The role is ideal for someone hungry for responsibility, leadership, and equity potential, with the goal of growing into a State Operations Lead.
The firm is flat-structured, supportive and ethical, led by respected Directors. You will be the face of the Sunshine Coast office, taking on projects from mum-and-dad subdivisions through to national clients, while building networks and moving toward equity and ownership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of the Sunshine Coast office and lead projects aligned with this office and the firm’s growth strategy.
- Deliver planning outcomes across a range of clients, from local to national scales.
- Develop networks and business opportunities to support growth and equity potential.
- Support succession planning and contribute to leadership initiatives as the role evolves toward State Operations Lead, managing people, projects and business growth.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of planning experience.
- Senior Planner or Principal Planner level with readiness for leadership and greater autonomy.
- Background in local government or planning and land development consultancy.
