Overview
The role involves overseeing and verifying hydrographic data collected from various remote sites across Tasmania, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
* Maintain and improve the reliability and accuracy of hydrographic data.
* Develop and implement processes to ensure timely and reliable data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of hydrographic data.
* Develop and maintain a library of rating curves for accurate flow calculations.
* Contribute to improving data reliability and accuracy by developing new processes and procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Certificate IV or equivalent industry experience as a Hydrographer or in Data Management.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
