Safety and Compliance Officer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in a newly created role. As a Safety and Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Investigating incidents, preparing detailed reports, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
* Providing infield training and support to team members, promoting a strong safety culture and best practices
* Liaising with contractors and ensuring compliance with safety requirements during their on-site activities
* Reporting on compliance metrics, analyzing trends, and identifying areas for improvement
You will be working closely with our operations team at our Dandenong South depot to maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. If you enjoy working on-site and driving improvements, this could be the perfect fit for you.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in a compliance, safety, or environmental role, ideally in a field-based position. You should have strong knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct training and engage with team members at all levels are essential.
