The Senior Software Engineer Role
The Senior Software Engineer will work with modern technologies to help develop our B2B (SaaS) applications and mobile applications. Sandwai's platform includes:
* A comprehensive web application for administration functions including scheduling, route optimisation, timesheets, employee and client management, quality assurance, clinical care, award interpretation, claiming and billing
* A mobile application for support workers providing services into the homes and community for those that are aged or have a disability
* A client and family application for service recipients, and
* A suite of integrations and APIs
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop solutions across the full ecosystem and technology stack.
You will enjoy workshopping with the product team to co-design new solutions and implement enhancements and new areas of functionality, help improve quality control processes and technologies, liaise with solution and technology partners, help guide and mentor less experienced developers, and build solutions that make a positive and tangible difference to people's lives.
Sandwai has all of it's development, admin, sales, product management and customer success in house, and our team collaboration is one of our greatest strengths. We design and build software together and we solve problems together.
The salary range for this position would typically be between $110,000 and $120,000 per annum, plus Super. However a higher salary range may be considered for a particularly strong direct skillset or experience within the aged care industry.

Sandwai is ISO 27001 (Information Security Management Systems) certified and with the responsibility of securing personally identifiable client health records, information security permeates every aspect of our operations. Our customers also operate 24/7 and so system availability, security and data integrity are immensely important. Sandwai uses the latest infrastructure technologies available through Amazon Web Services in Sydney, and has multiple layers of redundancy and automatic fail-over. The Senior Software Engineer has the opportunity to work within these technologies and to further develop their skills.

A Successful Senior Software Engineer at Sandwai
You have strong experience with the following technologies:
* Experience with PHP or a similar development language
* A solid understanding of relational databases, including MySQL or SQL
* Experience with a reactive front-end framework such as Vue.js, React or Angular
* Experience with Laravel is preferred
* Strong analytical ability to debug, analyse and solve complex problems
* Experience with GitHub or similar
* Have a thirst for innovating and a positive team-player attitude
* Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
* Be highly organised with great time management skills
* Motivated and have a great eye for detail
Which skills will give me an advantage but aren't mandatory?
* Laravel, Vue.js
* Docker
* Flutter or other mobile development experience
* Experience with Zoho Desk or similar
