Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to support multiple projects across Melbourne. About the Role Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in driving a positive safety culture across several active project sites. This is a hands-on position requiring regular site engagement, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence safe work practices at all levels of the business. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with legislative requirements while continuously improving safety performance across the portfolio. Responsibilities Provide HSE support across multiple construction projects throughout Melbourne. Conduct site inspections, audits, and workplace observations. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE systems and procedures. Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inductions. Investigate incidents, hazards, and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions. Support risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and project-specific safety documentation. Monitor compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant legislation. Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and statistics. Build strong working relationships with operational teams and subcontractors. Promote continuous improvement initiatives and a proactive safety culture. To Be Successful Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety as a minimum. Previous experience in a HSE Coordinator, Safety Advisor, or similar role. Exposure to construction, demolition, civil, remediation, infrastructure, or related project environments. Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and industry best practices. Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites and manage competing priorities. Strong reporting, administration, and organisational skills. Current Driver's Licence.
