**What's the role?**
Based in Sydney, Australia, you will be a vital member of the team responsible for the management of the ad technology ecosystem for News Corp Australia's owned and operated websites, apps, and off-network performance activity.
We work with exciting stakeholders both internal and external to develop innovative solutions that drive profitable revenue growth while maintaining the best user experience and outcomes for customers.
As part of the largest digital media publisher in Australia, you'll be on the cutting edge of the media industry, with a mandate to push the envelope and innovate. You'll have unique exposure to ad tech vendor beta trials, industry body working groups, and other opportunities that only organisations such as News Corp Australia can offer. Plus you'll learn how to navigate a large scale media organisation, it's not uncommon to hear people say "A year at News is worth two years anywhere else".
- Investigate and resolve technical issues within our advertising ecosystem using a variety of tools and knowledge sources.
- Provide technical support to the Ad Operations, Programmatic and Performance teams in the successful delivery of advertising activity and revenue generation.
- Development, onboarding and testing of new products and technologies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Liaise with 3rd Party technology vendors/suppliers to ensure service standards are maintained and issues are resolved to News expectation.
- Build and maintain data solutions to monitor the health of our advertising ecosystem using a variety of reporting tools and data sources.
- Use a combination of data, best practices, and innovative thinking to identify ways to increase ad revenue and optimise processes within our ecosystem.
- Provide thought leadership and education on matters relating to the ad technology industry.
**Who are you?**
- A great communicator, with the ability to understand and deconstruct complex technical problems, then communicate them effectively to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical understanding.
- Able to maintain high levels of accuracy, communication and quality when under pressure.
- A keen interest to learn, and a curiosity to understand 'how things work'.
- Someone who is looking to work as part of a close knit, friendly team environment.
- Confident and proactive team member, who is flexible and willing to take on tasks autonomously with mínimal supervision.
- An aptitude and enjoyment for high level problem solving.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Experience in the media industry, which can include various disciplines such as Ad Operations, Ad Tech, Programmatic, Performance Marketing, or web development will be an advantage.
