About This Opportunity

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE) has an opportunity as a Flight Nurse at our Dubbo Base.
As a Flight Nurse, you will play a vital role in our organisation, being required to provide direct quality nursing care for an individual or group of patients within an aero medical environment.
About You
As a Flight Nurse you will be working in an autonomous environment, utilising your skills and experience to deliver acute patient care.
You will have the ability to take initiative in emergency situations following RFDSSE Guidelines, in conjunction with RFDSSE Medical Officers or on-call Medical Retrieval Consultants.
In addition, you will be familiar with the relevant state drug and poisons regulation and controlled substances Act all while promoting a safe and harmonious working environment.
Pre-requisites
Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with no restrictions.
Post Registration qualifications in Midwifery with birth suite experience
Minimum 4 years' Acute Post Graduate Critical Care and Nursing experience (fields inclusive of Emergency, ICU, Cardiac or Cardiothoracic Nursing)
Current Advanced Life Support Certification
Being Ventilator Competent
