$60,816 – $67,189 per year plus super & allowances
The Maintenance Fitter, reporting to the Supervisor Mechanical Maintenance Water, will work collaboratively with the Water Services team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of water and wastewater treatment services. This role involves activities across various sites including wastewater and water treatment plants, sewerage pumping stations, waste transfer stations, Council’s swimming pools, and chlorinated water disinfection sites.
About You
* Certificate III in Engineering or Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining) required.
* Previous experience in the water industry, specifically with water pumps and mechanical plant.
* Proven ability in installation, modification, and commissioning of machines, plant, and infrastructure.
* Skilled in metal turning, milling, and shaping techniques.
* Experience with BIG, BBAW, and OAW processes.
