The National Basketball League (NBL) is opening a position for a TV journalist, based in Melbourne.
The person will be preparing, writing and presenting coverage and analysis of League events. The tasks will include live presentation, moderating discussions, tracking stats, interviewing associated personalities, and play‐by‐play announcer calls. They will also serve as a League brand ambassador, representing the League at promotional events and sports activities.
The ideal candidate should be a journalist with at least three years' experience, most particularly having worked on the sports beat. They must have a full understanding of basketball fundamentals and the NBL environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, and can perform well under deadlines.
