We are committed to ensure that all our people feel respected and participate safely within a work environment without aggression, sexual harassment, discrimination and racism.Where you'll be workingMacquarie Hospital, North RydeWhat You'll Be DoingThe Nurse Manager Grade 5 provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across key community-based services including the Health Contact Centre, Complex Care Coordination, Chronic Disease Management/ Respiratory CNC, Oncology and Palliative Care, NDIS and related programs.The Nurse Manager leads multidisciplinary teams, fosters partnerships across the health and community sectors, and drives service innovation, including the development and implementation of emerging integrated care programs. As a senior nursing leader this role plays a critical part in delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care. Contribute to workforce capability, models of care transformation, and a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, ensuring the best outcomes for patients, their families, and the wider community.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following CriteriaHolds current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Meets mandatory compliance requirements, including a current NSW Driver’s Licence, and has no conditions on practice. Eligible to meet relevant requirements under state and national regulatory frameworks such as the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.Holds a tertiary qualification in leadership and/or management and possesses substantial experience in a management role within a multidisciplinary community health environment, with demonstrated capability in program, model of care and service development.Demonstrated capacity to think critically and strategically, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions independently.
