The Travelling Remote RAES Employment Services Officer delivers mobile, outreach-based employment services across remote communities. The role provides culturally appropriate, high-quality case management to support participants to engage in activities, access training, gain employment and sustain long-term outcomes.
The position is responsible for maintaining a caseload across multiple locations, coordinating participant appointments during community visits, and working closely with employers, training providers, cultural stakeholders and internal RAES staff to ensure services are responsive, compliant and outcome-focused.
Frequent travel to remote communities is an inherent requirement of this role.

About You:
* Experience in employment services, case management or community services.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently in remote and outreach environments.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and motivate participants.
* Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
* Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to address barriers to employment using practical strategies.
* Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
* Intermediate to high-level computer skills, including data entry and case management systems.
* Current driver's licence and ability to undertake regular remote travel, including overnight stays.
Desirable:
* Experience delivering services across multiple remote communities.
* Knowledge of the RAES contract and mutual obligation framework.
* 4WD experience and/or ability to travel by light aircraft (if applicable to your region).
Other Requirements:
* National Police Check.
* Northern Territory (Working with Children) Ochre Card.
* Minimum C class drivers' licence
* Northern Land Council Work and Residential Permits (with assistance)
