The role
We are seeking a recent Graduate Engineer – Water Resources for immediate start who wishes to develop a long‐term career with an industry leader working on surface water related projects.
You will work closely with our specialists in the Water Resources team predominantly on NSW projects, but also support the wider ANZ business. You will develop broad capabilities and be mentored by industry leaders.
Responsibilities
* Conduct flood studies and assessments, including the impact of flood mitigation options.
* Perform water balance, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with other project team members.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent.
* Knowledge of modelling software including hydrologic modelling, 2D Tuflow, HEC‐RAS and source modelling.
* Some exposure to 12D or Drains stormwater assessments.
* Well‐developed time‐management skills, ability to meet task timelines and budgets.
* Ability to write reports and communicate effectively within a diverse and multi‐disciplined environment.
