OverviewThe Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0.
This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history.
It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.Purpose of the RoleThe Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Systems Auditor is responsible for planning and conducting internal, supplier and subcontractor QHSE audits in alignment with the FGJV QHSE Audit Program and Quality Audit Procedure requirements.QualificationsCertified Lead Auditor for AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015 standardProject Management, Engineering and QHSE qualifications - preferredWhite CardExperienceMinimum 10 years' experience in QHSE Management related roles on large-scale construction projectsMinimum 5 years' experience in QHSE Management system auditing and Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier and subcontractor auditingDemonstrated experience with complex audit processes on large-scale construction projectRequired CompetenciesDemonstrable knowledge of relevant AS/NZS and International standards for Quality Management Systems and quality audits (e.g., ISO 9001, 19011, 10013, 31000, 27001, 45001, & 14001)Proficiency in the use of proprietary software systems used in audits and assurance activitiesStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel, for audit planning and executionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present audit information, results, and impact of work to senior management and relevant stakeholdersProficiency in compiling audit checklists related to audit scope elementsExceptional report writing skills and the ability to interpret information from multiple sources and consolidate informationExcellent time management and organisational skillsGood interpersonal skills and adept at working in multicultural teamsCore Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesExecute planned audits in alignment with the QHSE audit program and quality audit procedure.Provide QHSE function with timely and comprehensive quality audit data for QHSE reporting purposes.Guide and support FGJV employees and client QHSE function on QHSE audit related matters.Support Corrective Action processes including the follow up on identified non-conformances, Workplace Inspections and report on outcomes and or system effectivenessAct in a consultative capacity where changes in plant, methods, and machinery, insurance cover, product or employee development are contemplated.The above listed authorities and responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.As an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee advantages.
