Overview
BROADTRANS is a WA-owned company-based North of the River, delivering specialist services in civil works, earthmoving, road construction, and land development across the Perth Metro and neighbouring regions. We are looking for experienced Civil Construction Supervisors to join our expanding team. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage road construction and/or subdivision projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
* Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and quality requirements for all projects.
* Oversee site teams and subcontractors, promoting a collaborative and safe working environment.
* Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and successful delivery.
* Effectively allocate materials, labour, and equipment, managing project schedules and budgets to meet deadlines.
* Conduct site inspections and generate detailed reports on project progress, safety, and compliance.
* Enforce Work Health & Safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant worksite.
* Coordinate and allocate labour, materials, and equipment to meet project milestones and objectives.
* Maintain comprehensive site records and documentation to ensure accurate tracking of project status and compliance.
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in managing roadworks and civil subdivision construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of road construction standards, materials, traffic management, and civil construction methodologies.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Commitment to implementing and upholding safety protocols in the workplace.
* Preferred trade qualifications or certifications in civil construction.
* Experience working with MRWA and Local Government Authorities is a plus.
* Valid Driver's Licence would be essential for site visits and project oversight.
* Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate diverse site teams.
* Strong understanding of construction legislation, safety standards, and quality assurance.
* Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
* Qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management are preferred but not required.
