Family Violence Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Family Violence Specialist. In this critical role, you will provide expert-level support to families at risk of family violence.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in the family violence space, with a strong focus on case management and risk assessment. They will be able to assess, implement, and create responses to family violence situations, utilising their expertise to ensure the safety and wellbeing of families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-work and capacity build with colleagues to identify elevated risk of family violence.
* Assess and manage family violence situations using the MARAM comprehensive assessment tool.
* Develop and implement effective responses to family violence, prioritising the safety and wellbeing of families.
* Maintain accurate records of case management and risk assessments.
Requirements:
* Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other human services related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in the family violence space, with a strong focus on case management and risk assessment.
* High level of competence in conducting family violence risk assessments and implementing effective responses.
* Ability to maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), an NDIS Safety Screening check, and a current valid Working With Children Check.
