**About the role**
This an exciting opportunity for an experienced Panel shop Manager or Production Manager to join our client in a prestigious shop, with great culture and pay.
**Duties**
- Greet visiting clients and direct them to reception
- Conduct toolbox meetings with panel and paint shop staff
- Strategically allocate jobs for the following day
- Oversee cleanliness is maintained in the workshop and bays.
- Liaise with the Parts Manager to make sure all parts are correct and undamaged
- Quality check every repair leaving the panel shop prior to reaching the primer
- All control forms are to be completed on every job, then provided to the receptionist to be scanned and uploaded onto ibodyshop (private and/or insurance)
- Manage private and warranty work requested by all external dealer network
- Monitor production staff 'scope of works' and 'job sheets'
- Update the production list and all production planning documentation throughout the day
- Monitor floor staff performance, punctuality, efficiency, quality, and attitude and escalate any issues to General Manager, when required.
- Performance management and recruitment of production staff
- Ensure production KPIs are set and measured
- Work with the receptionist to resolve client issues and escalate to General Manager, as required
- Implement, drive and follow processes
**Skills and experience**
- Prior experience in Prestige or Euro shop is highly desirable
- Have the ability to manage a team
- Prides themselves on high-quality work.
