Branch Manager – Mount Gravatt
As our highly valued Branch Manager based in Mount Gravatt, your role will lead the performance, growth and day‐to‐day operations of the branch.
You'll make an impact by:
* Leading and developing a high‐performing branch team focused on exceptional customer outcomes and business growth
* Creating a strong customer‐centric sales culture, identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships across banking products and services
* Coaching, mentoring and supporting team members to achieve individual and branch performance targets
* Managing branch operations across customer service, administration, compliance and people leadership
* Building local brand presence and community connections to grow awareness and business opportunities
* Monitoring branch performance, financial objectives and operational metrics to drive sustainable growth
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and team effectiveness
* Creating an environment where customers feel supported and team members feel empowered to succeed
This is more than managing a branch. You'll lead a team that plays an important role in helping customers achieve home ownership and financial confidence. You'll balance commercial outcomes with genuine customer relationships, creating an environment where people feel welcome, supported and valued. From coaching your team and driving performance, to building community connections and managing operations, you'll have broad ownership across the branch. You'll be trusted to lead from the front — setting the tone for service, accountability and team culture while adapting to changing customer and business needs. To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Previous leadership experience within banking, financial services or a customer‐focused retail environment
* Strong knowledge across banking products and services
* Demonstrated experience leading sales and service performance within a team environment
* The ability to coach, mentor and develop team capability to achieve business outcomes
* Strong commercial acumen and confidence managing branch performance and operational priorities
* Well‐developed communication and relationship‐building skills with both customers and stakeholders
* Experience identifying business development opportunities and growing local market presence
* Sound understanding of relevant financial services legislation, compliance and risk obligations
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Financial Services (or equivalent), or willingness to complete required certifications
