Job Opportunity:
The School Social Worker role is a key position within Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs and Services (SWIPS). To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in social work with full eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
This proactive approach focuses on building educator capability to better support student wellbeing and maximise educational outcomes. You will partner with schools, families and communities to create inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
* Key responsibilities include providing support to schools to improve student wellbeing and safety through evidence-based interventions, consultation, planning, and short-term individual support to address student behaviour, wellbeing and social emotional concerns that may impact educational outcomes.
* Additionally, you will provide professional learning and information to educators and leadership teams in collaboration with team members.
