About This Role

* Utilise your project delivery expertise to provide support and advice to the Legal Services Coord and Entity Governance business unit
* A fixed-term, full-time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service for 18 months
* VPS Grade 5: $113,022 - $136,747 plus superannuation.

About The Business Unit
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers high quality services to Victorians and supports a safe, just, innovative and thriving Victoria. The Contract Lead role sits within the Legal Services Coordination and Entity Governance business unit, which is responsible for the management of the Victorian Government Legal Services Panel (the Panel) as well as major projects that drive and develop innovation in government legal services.

The Panel provides over 100 Victorian Government departments and agencies with access to high quality legal services that represent good value for money. The Panel also implements key social procurement policies delivering benefits to Victorians, including in the pro bono legal and gender equality spaces.

About The Role
In the role of Contract Lead, you will act as the primary support to the Contract Manager, providing high-level support for the day-to-day management of the Panel.

Some Of Your Duties Will Include

* Assisting the Panel Contract Manager to monitor service provider compliance with the Panel's terms and conditions and assess Panel firm performance against the performance management framework
* Managing the Panel's Client Satisfaction Survey process, including monitoring response rate, building engagement with the survey, analysing responses, and maintaining the survey's dashboard
* Building engagement with the Panel across government stakeholders and service providers to increase the value-for-money the Panel achieves.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

* Demonstrated experience working in government and an ability to successfully navigate government systems and processes
* Demonstrated experience in the management of contracts, including monitoring compliance and assessing and managing performance
* Well-developed stakeholder management or customer service skills
* Advanced skills in Microsoft software, including the Microsoft Power Platform (especially Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerBI), and the ability to learn and use new systems.

Qualifications/Requirements

* A tertiary qualification in law would be advantageous but is not required.
