Bookkeeping Role

We have a part-time remote bookkeeping/accounts role available for a passionate and customer-centric individual to join our vibrant team.

This role reports to the Accounts Team Leader and is ideal for someone who can work flexibly from home in a UK/US/EU/AU/NZ time zone.


Duties:

* Invoice Processing: Accurately process invoices, ensuring timely payments.
* Expense Request Management: Process expense requests and maintain records accordingly.
* Credit Control: Effectively manage credit control processes to minimize debt.
* Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
* Financial Account Management: Reconcile finance accounts and direct debits, ensuring all transactions are up-to-date.
* Sales Invoicing: Raise sales invoices promptly and accurately.
* Communication and Liaison: Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
* Documentation Maintenance: Update and maintain procedural documentation to reflect changes and best practices.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy in payments, amounts, and records by performing regular checks.
* Account Management: Manage the accounts inbox, responding to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
* Reporting and Administration: Prepare and administer reports as required, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.


Requirements:

* Attention to Detail: Possess an eye for detail, ensuring high accuracy in tasks.
* Analytical Skills: Apply analytical skills to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Experience: Bring prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating your expertise.
* Software Proficiency: Have advanced knowledge in Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB, Sage50, or other relevant accounting software.
