We are seeking an experienced Asset Readiness - Technical Writer for an Owners Team vacancy working on multiple operational projects.
This is a Perth based role, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, offers an attractive daily rate and 6-month contract.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with Operational Readiness Lead to clarify the type and number of documents to be created, facilitating and coordinating any identified gaps, and provide regular progress updates until handover.
2. Work closely with Central Support functions, including Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & Water Management, Engineering, and Reliability, to ensure adherence and compliance with corporate standards and guidelines.
3. Create document checklists from the equipment manuals and reliability FMECA
4. Create primary standard work instructions (replace repair)
5. Record progress of document status (out for review/editing required, document date base for approval)
6. Follow the standard templates created by the team.
7. Facilitate and organise meetings with a structured agenda that relates to the required outcomes of the meeting.
Your Experience:
8. Trade qualification or 5years+ in technical writing
9. Proven experience in technical writing for either fixed plant/energy transmission and generation/Heavy Mobile Equipment
10. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
11. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members
12. Clear and concise communication abilities.
13. Proficient in facilitating and presenting at meetings.
