Civil Infrastructure Project Lead
This pivotal role shapes the delivery of safe and efficient projects in Central Queensland.
As a Civil Project Engineer, you will oversee engineering activities from project definition through execution, ensuring seamless design and construction of airfield pavements, drainage systems, and airside facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight of civil engineering projects from initiation to completion.
* Technical leadership in design and construction of infrastructure, including airfield pavements and drainage systems.
* Strategic planning and quality assurance processes for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
* Technical expertise in contract management and stakeholder engagement with councils, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
* Adaptability in managing critical phases, including night-shift operations when necessary.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (RPEQ preferred).
* Over 10 years' experience in civil project management and delivery.
* Expertise in airfield pavement and drainage system design.
* Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
