Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to join our team as a Senior Construction Specialist. In this role, you will conduct thorough on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building standards and regulations.
Your responsibilities will include administering the full scope of works, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring the quality of work delivered by contractors. You will also provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders involved in the project.
Key Accountabilities:
Accurate recording of data during site visits
Providing exceptional customer service to all parties
Preparing comprehensive reports and scopes of work for clients
Ensuring compliance with client and internal claim handling requirements and timeframes
Compiling and formatting forensic building reports and scopes of work
Project management as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Cert III Carpentry or Cert IV Building & Construction qualification
Knowledge of the insurance industry and process requirements for admin hearings and litigation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
