* Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ITS projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and standards* Facilitate project planning sessions to define goals, scope, deliverables, timelines, communication plans, and performance measures* Develop project charters, implementation plans, issue papers, and briefing materials to support decision-making* Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards* Monitor project progress, identify issues, and take or recommend corrective action as needed* Conduct cost-benefit analyses and provide input on funding requests and resource planning* Coordinate project teams, provide direction where required, and support effective team performance* Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, customers, and vendors* Ensure compliance with project management standards, methodologies, and reporting requirements* Lead post-project evaluations and best-practice reviews to improve future project delivery* Support the development and maintenance of the project management resource centre, including templates, tools, standards, and guides* Champion innovative, agile, and effective project management practices across the organization* **Location:** Victoria, BC* **Compensation:** $74,383.20 - $87,417.75* **Competition Close Date:** Sunday, March 8th @ 11:59PM**What you bring to the team** **Education:*** Experience managing project teams and working with diverse stakeholders.* Experience in the development of business cases and/or concept cases (e.g., feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, options papers).* Project Management Certification (e.g., AGILE Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent or advanced project management training.* Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.* Experience providing project management and coordination services for assigned projects.* Experience working effectively with multiple projects and assignments.* Experience preparing briefing notes, policy proposals and issue papers.* Work-life balance – 35-hour work weeks, hybrid work options and flexible work schedules.* Public Service Pension Plan – one of the best in Canada, allowing you to plan for your future.* Health and Wellness - generous extended health and dental benefits through Pacific Blue Cross and an Employee Assistance Program to help support our employees overall well-being.* Career development – we want you to grow and learn with us!
