We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties
* Provide direct support to clients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Monitor patients' health and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
* Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction, particularly for those with dementia.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications
* Experience in dementia care, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
* Strong skills in patient monitoring and medication administration are essential.
* Ability to assist clients with daily living tasks while promoting independence.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are crucial for building rapport with clients.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
* Certification in home care or direct support is a plus but not required; training will be provided as necessary.
