The Faculty of Education, Services Skills & Environment at Holmesglen provides a progressive and supportive educational environment.
The position will be an active hands-on role in the Holmesglen stores department.
**Duties may include, but are not limited to**:
- Assemble before each lesson and transfer after each lesson all of the lesson requirements from the stores department including all fresh and frozen food, dry goods, beverages and equipment.
- The distribution of equipment and stock to kitchens, food service areas and store areas.
- Storage, hygiene, preparation of food products and maintaining a safe learning environment by demonstrating correct carrying and storage techniques.
- Cleaning of kitchen equipment and facilities.
- Receiving goods, storage and rotation of goods.
- Reporting weekly equipment cleaning and maintenance**.**
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum**
- Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or year 12 and demonstrated relevant experience or, equivalent relevant experience.
- Current Food Safety Qualification to include a current food handling / hygiene qualification, SITXFSA001 - Use hygienic practices for food safety.
**Preferred**
- Certificate III in Catering Operations
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
**Salary**: $31.11 - $34.38 per hour (range dependent upon qualifications and experience)

**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a valid Victorian Working with Children Check
**Police Check**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a current Police Check
