Job Title:
Mechanical Project Engineer

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for managing project requirements and planning, client meetings, detailed design, review and supply of engineering deliverables, and execution of works. They will work closely with the engineering team, procurement, production and other internal stakeholders to develop effective solutions considering cost, standardisation, part availability and compliance.
* Closely interact with project teams in a positive and focused manner to realise productive results
* Clear and effective inter-departmental communication is necessary, as are frequent customer discussions
* Provide accurate and high-quality work with minimal supervision
* Standardise the design data, design models, guidelines and equipment to make the business more effective
About the Role:
This full-time role involves preparing and updating project plans, leading the completion of engineering tasks in accordance with procedures, international and Australian standards, and delivering projects within time and budget. The Mechanical Project Engineer will participate in the detailed design of mechanical and refrigeration systems, check engineering deliverables, and carry out all other design and manufacturing assignments and projects.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering recognised by the Institute of Engineers Australia
* Proficient in SolidWorks
* Understanding of engineering drawings and deliverables
* Understanding of refrigeration systems
