Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve asset reliability and minimise downtime. Monitor and evaluate equipment performance metrics to recommend improvements. Prepare detailed reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Support the Capital Projects teams in project definition and delivery, this includes providing guidance on the maintenance strategy to the Operational Readiness teams Support maintenance teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all operations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of reliability processes and practices. Profile A successful Specialist Reliability Engineer should have: Qualifications in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Mechatronics) or a related field. Experience/knowledge of track maintenance activities Proven expertise in reliability engineering within the rail and natural resources industry. Skills and Knowledge of track design and foundations and engineering is highly advantageous Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions. Familiarity with reliability tools and software. Commitment to safety and compliance in engineering practices. Job Offer Competitive hourly rate between AUD 90 and AUD 100.
