Primary Objective: This position provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Division of Surgery & Critical Care, with a strong focus on managing complex rostering and workforce coordination requirements. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of employment and rostering policies, relevant legislation, and medical officer classifications. It requires ability to analyse and interpret workforce data, understanding clinician skill sets and capabilities, and ensuring that rosters are developed in line with availability, award conditions, and fatigue management principles. The position also oversees the locum engagement process for Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, and Consultants, including coordination of contracts, payment processing, clinician onboarding and access, and ongoing stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless service delivery across the division.
