This is a great opportunity to build your career in facilities management. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will foster relationships with tenants, service providers, and clients, while making recommendations to improve the building’s performance, risk profiles, presentation, and condition.
This role involves working closely with our Facilities Management team across different segments to learn how to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of retail sites across Newcastle and Sydney.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting and overseeing the maintenance and operation of building services
* Providing maintenance advice to meet clients’ quality and safety standards
* Ensuring all planned preventative maintenance programmes are documented, maintained, and completed on time
* Assisting with project-based work such as fit-outs and refurbishments
* Supporting administrative tasks like work orders, audit reports, budget management, client reporting, risk management, and permits
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and IT skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to deliver outcomes for Colliers and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is highly desirable, along with the ability to learn various Facilities Management online platforms.
If you have recently completed a facilities management training course and seek to apply your skills, this role offers growth within one of Sydney’s leading property companies. Ongoing training will support your career development towards becoming a Facilities Manager.
